Nutrition month 2019

The high school students of Raises Academy celebrated Nutrition Month last July 25-26, 2019 at the 1st and 3rd floor of Raises Annex building respectively.


The first day of the event was a competition for Grades 7 and 8 students. Each level was divided into 5 groups. For Grade 7 students, they had salad making contest while sandwich making contest were presented by Grade 8 students.


Second day was for the Grade 9 to 12 students. The purpose of this event was to showcase the students’ skills and apply the lesson they had learned from their TLE (Technology and Livelihood Education) subject. The students were divided into 5 groups and given a theme – Debut, Wedding, Opening of a Restaurant, Graduation and Fiesta – to present. Furthermore, each group came up with an organized event consisting of pro- motion of each event, decoration, and presentation of menu.


Awards were given to the winning teams. With these, all efforts of the students were paid off since everyone enjoyed the whole program.
